Overview
Hell Hot is a match-3 puzzle game in which players progress through a 24-stage campaign across four themed realms — Molten Citrus, Ember Grove, Molten Foundry, and Infernal Zenith — collecting heat perks, participating in the Daily Inferno Link challenge, and tracking progress through achievements and statistics.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy describes what information the Game collects, how it is used, who it may be shared with, and the choices available to you. By downloading, installing, or using Hell Hot, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
Information We Collect
2.1 Personal Data
Hell Hot does not require account creation or the submission of names, physical addresses, or financial details to play. If you voluntarily contact us for support, we may collect your email address and the content of your message.
2.2 Technical Data
- Device model, operating system and version, device language, and screen resolution
- App version, build number, and general device performance signals used for crash reporting
- Advertising and analytics identifiers, such as the Google Advertising ID or Apple ID for Advertisers. Your advertising identifier is retained only for as long as your device makes it available to us and is used solely for advertising and analytics purposes; you may reset or limit it at any time through your device settings.
- IP address, used at the time of collection to derive an approximate, non-precise location (such as country or region) and is not stored in a form that identifies you individually
2.3 Usage Data
- Gameplay activity such as stages completed, session length and frequency, in-run choices, and Daily Inferno Link participation
- In-app purchases and virtual item usage, where applicable
- Interaction with advertisements, including impressions, clicks, and completions
- Push notification interaction, where notifications are enabled
2.4 On-Device Data
Certain data — such as local save state, settings, and cached progress — is stored only on your device using standard local storage mechanisms and is not transmitted to our servers unless needed to sync progress, provide support, or as otherwise described in this Policy. Some features may still require occasional network connectivity to function correctly.
How We Use Information
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Game, including the campaign, Daily Inferno Link challenge, and booster shop
- Diagnose technical issues, fix bugs, and monitor stability and performance
- Personalize and measure the effectiveness of in-game advertising
- Analyze aggregate gameplay trends to balance difficulty and design future content
- Respond to support requests and communicate important updates
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, cheating, or abuse
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
Advertising & Analytics
Hell Hot may display in-app advertisements and uses analytics tools to understand how the Game is used. We work with the following categories of service providers:
- Firebase Analytics (Google) — collects app usage and performance data to help us understand engagement and stability
- OneSignal — delivers push notifications, where enabled, based on a device-level notification identifier
- Install Referrer (Google Play) — records how the app installation originated (for example, from an advertising campaign) so we can measure marketing effectiveness
Advertising partners integrated into the Game may use your advertising identifier to serve and measure ads. Your advertising identifier is retained only for as long as your device makes it available to us and is used solely for advertising and analytics purposes; you may reset or limit it at any time through your device settings. You may also opt out of certain interest-based advertising through your device's ad settings or platform-provided tools.
Virtual Currency & Items
Hell Hot includes virtual in-game currency ("Embers") and virtual items — including heat perks and booster-shop items — that can be earned through gameplay or, where available, purchased with real money. Virtual currency and items have no cash value, cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or converted into real money outside the Game, and remain the property of the Game at all times, subject to the applicable platform's terms of service.
Match-3 tiles in Hell Hot are illustrated using classic fruit-symbol and flame artwork as a visual style choice. This artwork is decorative and does not reflect, simulate, or enable any real-money wagering mechanic.
Hell Hot is not a gambling product and does not offer real-money gambling of any kind. No feature in the Game — including the match-3 tile artwork, the Daily Inferno Link challenge, or any other reveal-based mechanic — allows players to wager, bet, or risk real money, and no feature offers the chance to win real money, cash equivalents, or prizes of monetary value.
The Daily Inferno Link challenge invites players to reveal tiles to uncover bonus rewards. Participation does not require spending or risking previously earned currency or items, and a player's existing balance of Embers, perks, or unlocked progress is not reduced or forfeited as a result of participating in or completing this challenge. Rewards granted through the challenge are additional, non-guaranteed virtual items with no cash value.
If you have concerns about how virtual-economy features are presented, or would like more detail on any specific mechanic, please contact us using the information in Section 13.
User Content
If the Game offers optional features such as a player nickname, leaderboard display name, or support-ticket message, any content you submit through these features may be visible to us and, in the case of leaderboard names, to other players. Please avoid including personal information in any nickname or message you submit. We may remove or moderate content that violates our content guidelines or applicable platform policies.
Data Retention
We retain different categories of information for different periods, depending on their purpose:
| Data Category | Retention Period |
|---|---|
| Gameplay & progress data | For as long as you actively use the Game, plus a limited period afterward to allow account/progress recovery |
| Advertising identifier | Retained only for as long as your device makes it available to us and is used solely for advertising and analytics purposes; you may reset or limit it at any time through your device settings |
| Technical & crash data | Typically retained up to 26 months for diagnostic and stability purposes |
| Support communications | Retained for as long as needed to resolve your request and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping |
| Purchase records | Retained as required by applicable tax, accounting, and platform obligations |
When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or anonymize it so that it can no longer be linked to you.
Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13.
- You can reset or limit your device's advertising identifier at any time in your device settings
- You can manage notification permissions through your device's system settings

Children's Privacy
Hell Hot is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under the applicable age, we will take steps to delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details in Section 13.
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. Material changes will be indicated by updating the effective date at the top of this Policy, and, where appropriate, through an in-game notice. Continued use of the Game after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
